He is an Aveda Institute Beacon Winner (2013), hosted the first ever SMP training at Toni & Guy academy course, and is an internationally trainer and award-winning SMP expert. Jeff started as a barber, launching the popular Chicago, IL barbershop franchise, Rockstar Fades. Picasso SMP is in Chicago , Los Angeles and Austin.

General Manager | Master Trainer
Based in Austin, Texas, Ivan is the general manger of Leaders SMP Academy, organizer of The SMP Expo and the creator of the first photographic simulation course for SMP. He is a sponsored artist of Ghost Unit Pro Team and the official FYT SMP artist. With extensive experience, Ivan is passionate about bringing out the best in people through scalp micropigmentation. He has conducted courses across the United States and in over 10 countries, aiming to share his knowledge and expertise in SMP to inspire and motivate new artists. Do I need any experience to take this training?
No prior experience is required for our 3-Day Core Certification training. This includes tool setup, safety, technique with hands-on practice, SMP correction and care for alopecia and scar camouflage designs, the business accelerator and more!
Our 2-Day Mastery Design training for Artists with at least 1–2 years of experience. This training provides advanced skill-based application, design, and is tailored the individual artist to help improve their craft.
What’s included in the training course?
Each course includes hands-on training, a professional Full SMP Kit, live model work, certification, and access to our exclusive Leaders Academy app and support community.
Will I get to work on real clients?
Yes. We offer live model practice so you gain real experience under the guidance of a certified instructor.
