WHAT IS SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION (SMP)?
Scalp Micropigmentation is the ultimate hair loss solution for both men and women. Proven to be safe and effective, this non-surgical precision technique replicates the look of natural hair follicles, using micro-needles to tattoo follicles onto the scalp, it provides clients with the appearance of a closely shaven head. LDRSMP ACADEMY TRAINING
Essential Knowledge
Day 1 – The initial part of the course will cover the essential theory and fundamentals. Topics will include scalp anatomy, causes and types of hair loss, micropigmentation, colour theory, technique, hair density, health and safety guidelines, drawing realistic hairlines, and more.
Hands-on Training
Day 2 – This comprehensive SMP training day will focus on practical skills. You will receive a thorough introduction to SMP, learn how to conduct consultations, practice drawing accurate hairlines, study the anatomy of the skin and head, explore traditional hair loss treatments for baldness, and engage in hands-on practice using an SMP pen machine on a synthetic melon.
Application Mastery
Day 3 – During this stage, you will delve into the application process. You will gain knowledge about sanitation practices, setting up your workstation, equipment usage, pigment mixing, and the precise implantation/application of SMP. This day will also involve supervised practice on a live model, allowing you to refine your skills.
